Most surf wax is made from paraffin, a petroleum by-product, and NOT reef, ocean or fish friendly...most surf shops offer an eco-friendly, biodegradable surf wax so take the time to search one out. If they don't, ask them too or make your own!
I will be making organic surf wax again this summer with beeswax, coconut oil, tree resin and pure essential oils. I like my beach bag to smell of lemongrass and cajeput oils, not pina colada. I will add it to the website soon.
