Founder

Kristen Myers is the owner and blender for Sambuca Modern Apothecary. Her journey started on an herb walk in the Appalachian Mountains while in college. She went on to study herbal medicine in Colorado and started making her own herbal apothecary. She opened an organic spa and retail shop in Wilmington, NC where she sold high end organic skincare and body care products for six years.  During this time she created a Modern Apothecary in her store where she created room sprays, bath salts, lotion bars and pure essential oil blends.  Her clientele loved her aromatic blends and were amazed by the therapeutic results.  She went on to develop this brand into Remedies to Roll and began wholesaling her brand to other like minded stores.  Her passion is to make aromatherapy accessible to everyone and to empower people to take charge of their own wellness.  She moved back to the Appalachian mountains in 2021 and enjoys hiking, traveling, gardening, drawing and hanging with her family in her free time. Kristen’s educational background includes a BS in Exercise Science, Licensed Certified Nutritionist, and Clinical Herbalist with a concentration is Aromatherapy.
